• 1 cup water

  • ⅓ cup vinegar OR apple cider vinegar

  • 2-3 cloves of garlic (chopped)

  • 1 tbsp. grated ginger

  • 2 tbsp. sugar (optional)

  • 1-2 tsp. salt

  • 3 cucumbers (sliced)


  1. In a small bowl add water, vinegar, sugar, garlic, ginger, and salt. Stir to combine and until the sugar and salt have dissolved. Add the cucumbers. Taste and adjust the ingredients as per your liking.

  2. Place the flavoured cucumbers in a clean glass jar and let the mixture rest outside for 24 hours until there ready to eat.

  3. Once they are pickled please keep them in the refrigerator.
