·120g of pasta (cooked)
8 ripe tomatoes (coarsely chopped)
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 medium onion (finely chopped)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
Black pepper and salt (to taste)
4 cloves of garlic (minced)
¼ cup chopped fresh basil
¼ cup of water (optional)
Boil your pasta as per the package's instructions and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and add the onions. Cook until the onions are translucent for about 2-3 minutes, and then add garlic and sauté for another 2 minutes.
Add the chopped tomatoes, lemon juice, salt, pepper, basil, water, and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
